Steps to Install Quicken Deluxe 2014 in Window XP , Windows 7 ,8 and 8.1

In case of CD OR DVD:

1.      If you have old Quicken version on your computer like Quicken Deluxe 2013 , Quicken Deluxe 2012 or older than you need to save the Data on your computer after that first you need to uninstall that. From the control panel you have to uninstall and then use MSIClean.exe and QCleanUI.exe to uninstall Quicken. You have to save the MSIClean.exe and QCleanUI.exe on Desktop. Then run the setup of QCleanUI.exe.

2.      Then Insert CD into CD drive and run the setup of Quicken Deluxe 2014 from the CD.

3.      Once it is installed sometime it asks for Restart and sometime it will not. Generally it asks for Restart only when if Quicken not update the Release version. If the Release version is updated at the time of Installation then it will not ask for Restart windows.

4.      Once it installed then you open Quicken Deluxe by the icon after that it will generally show you the option of Convert from there you will get all the Data from the older version in newer version of Quicken i.e., Quicken Deluxe 2014.

5.      If it will not take the backup file automatically then it show you three option like (a) open the data file located on this computer (b) open the data file from the external Drive (c) Start with the New Quicken data.

6.      If you want the old file then you can check on computer the default data backup would in the C:/library/Document/Quicken folder.

7.      The last step is to register Quicken. Click on Help and then Click on Register Quicken. If you already have an Intuit ID and password the click on Already Intuit ID and password then type the Intuit ID and password otherwise fill the Registration form of Quicken.
