A printer is a piece of
hardware for a computer. It is a device that must be connected to a computer
which allows a user to print items on paper, such as letters and pictures.
Today, there are lots of printers available in the market. Among them, Canon

without the use of a computer or laptop.
There are several types of
Canon printers available in the market like Dot matrix, Inkjet, Laserjet etc.
Canon printer can be connected through usb cable with the computer or it can be

you purchase Canon printer, first of all turn on the printer and then according
to the model number install the printer driver in the computer then you can print

- Color: Color is important for users who need to print pages for presentation or maps and other pages where color is part of the information. The main advantage of Color printer is that it can operate in both modes i.e black-and-white and Color. Color printers are more expensive to operate since they use two ink cartridges (one color and one black ink) that need to be replaced after a certain number of pages.
- Resolution: The Resolution (sharpness of text and images on paper) of a printer is usually measured in dots per inch (i.e dpi). Most inexpensive printers provide sufficient resolution for most purposes at 600 dpi.
- Speed: Speed is one of the most important factors that decide the quality of any printer. If you do much printing, the speed of the printer becomes important. An inexpensive printer are much slower as compare to expensive printers as they print only about 3 to 6 sheets per minute. Moreover, Color printing is also slower. In Contrast, expensive printers are much faster.
- Memory: These days, most printers come with a small amount of memory (that can be expanded by the user). Having more than the minimum amount of memory is helpful and faster when printing out pages with large images or tables with lines around them (which the printer treats as a large image).
